My First Class

Ahhhh...my final semester at University of Houston before graduation! 10 years to the day from my high school graduation. Literally... on the 10 year plan. That's okay though...better late than never. So as a little graduation present to myself I signed up for a hybrid study abroad course. I spend 1:15 minutes each week in class and the capstone of the course is a trip to Spain. Once in Spain with 49 other classmates I will be visiting two cities...Madrid and Barcelona. In each of these cities I will be attending daily seminars, lectures, and presentations at various Spanish based corporations. WOW...what an opportunity, I will be immersed in another business culture, I will have the privilege to see the inter workings of an organization outside the US. I have studied, and read, I have listened to lectures, written papers, watched videos, all on international business. Now I get to live it! I am excited and wanted to share the news with all of you. My planned departure is 5/18, the day after my graduation ceremony! The duration of the trip is 10 days!
